UDOH-sponsored COVID-19 Testing Sites for the Week of March 7, 2022 | Utah Department of Health

Visit https://coronavirus.utah.gov/utah-covid-19-testing-locations/ before visiting a testing site for the most up-to-date information on operating hours, types of tests offered at each site, associated costs, who may be tested at the site, etc. 

Testing is still an important tool for many Utahns who may benefit from treatments. Those who should continue to get tested include:

·        Those with significant underlying conditions. Getting tested gives these people who test positive a chance to be considered for treatments like monoclonal antibodies or antiviral pills. Learn more at https://coronavirus.utah.gov/treatments or talk to your doctor.

·        If you’re going to visit someone who is vulnerable (for example people over 75 years, immunocompromised, receiving immunosuppressive medication)

·        If you’ve been sick but are getting better and want to confirm you are negative

If you’re traveling somewhere that requires a negative test

·        Elderly

·        Those who work with vulnerable populations:

·         Healthcare workers

·         Long-term care facility employees

·         People living or working in congregate settings including prisons and homeless shelters

(PCR test done by an anterior nares swab.  Please allow at least 30 minutes for completion of your test. Delays may occur due to bad weather or high demand.)

·         Castleview Hospital, 300 North Hospital Drive, Price (drive-through in the parking lot). Saturday, 3/12—7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Register here.

·         Grand Center, 182 N. 500 W., Moab (drive-through in the west parking lot of the Grand Center). Tuesday, 3/8—7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, 3/10—12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, 3/11—7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register here.

·         Juab School District Office, 346 East 600 North, Nephi (drive-through in the west parking lot of the school district office). Friday, 3/11—7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register here.

·         Bluff Community Center, 190 N. 3rd E., Bluff (drive-through in the southeast parking lot of the community center. Enter on 3rd E.). Wednesday, 3/9—7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register here.

·         Monticello Public Library, 80 N. Main Street, Monticello (drive-through in the east parking lot) Monday, 3/7—7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register here.

·         Central Utah Health Department, 20 South 100 West, Mt. Pleasant (drive-through in the parking lot of the Central Utah Health Department). Monday, 3/7 and Tuesday, 3/8—7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday, 3/10—12 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Register here.

You will be notified of your results with 2-3 days via text and/or email depending on how you registered.

·        Roosevelt/TriCounty Health Department, 409 S 200 E, Roosevelt, (mobile van testing in the parking lot of the Roosevelt, UT satellite office of the Tri-County Health Department), Saturday, 3/12—12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Register here.

·        Southeast Utah Health Department, 25 W Main Street, Castle Dale, Friday, 3/11—9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Register here.

·        Huntington Fire Department, 360 N Main Street, Huntington, Friday, 3/11—3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Register here.

·        Green River Medical Center, 585 Main St, Green River (drive-through in the parking lot), Wednesday, 3/9—12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Register here.

·        Cannon Health Building, 288 N. 1460 W. (testing location is in the south parking lot), Salt Lake City, Monday through Sunday–7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Register here.

This site offers a dedicated lane for travelers who need testing prior to leaving Utah. Not all travel destinations will accept the types of tests offered at this testing location. Some travel destinations may also require testing to be done at specific testing locations and/or include QR codes linked to results and CLIA information. At this time, this site’s testing does not include QR codes or CLIA information. It is the traveler’s responsibility to know which type of test is required for their destination. For information on travel requirements by destination visit the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html.

·        Tooele Park and Ride, 2450 North State Route 36, Tooele (drive-through in the center of the parking lot), Monday through Saturday–7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Register here.

·        Grantsville Baseball Stadium, 36 East Cherry Street, Grantsville (drive-through in the center of the stadium parking lot) Tuesday, 3/8 and Thursday, 3/10—12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Register here.

Tests offered include PCR, Abbott ID NOW COVID-19 Rapid Molecular test (this is a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test–NAAT, sometimes known as a rapid PCR), and RT-PCR. PCR results are usually available within 24-48 hours. Rapid PCR results are usually available within 15-60 minutes.

Results of tests from TestUtah sites will be emailed with a link to the patient portal where results can be accessed. For issues with accessing TestUtah results, please call (801) 783-1829.  

No symptoms required for testing at these sites. Tests provided include: swab PCR and saliva PCR.  Free Covid-19 testing for those ages 3 and older.

·        Bear River Health Department, 440 W 600 N, Tremonton (drive-through in the parking lot), Tuesday, 3/8 and Thursday, 3/10—11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Register here. 

·        USU Brigham City Campus (South Lot), 175 E 1000 S, Brigham City, Monday, 3/7, Wednesday, 3/9, Friday, 3/11—11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Register here.

UDOH mobile test team sites:

The following sites offer testing for those ages three and older but there is no age limit with regard to saliva tests as long as the child can independently produce the required amount of saliva.

Test results from these locations will be emailed to you in an encrypted file from CV19result@utah.gov 30 minutes to several hours after your test is done. If the testing location is extremely busy, it may take a while to process your results. If you don’t see an email in your inbox, look in spam or junk mail.  Or try to open the email on a non-app browser (chrome, firefox, etc.) and on a computer or non-phone device. If you have trouble opening the email or it doesn’t come within a few hours, call (385) 273-7878 for assistance.

For the most accurate results, we recommend people without symptoms receive a PCR test. PCR results are available within 2-3 business days.
